This document provides the basic steps that show how to use the Wowza Streaming Engine to publish a live stream from RTMP-based encoders for playback on VIDIZMO player.

Make sure that both your stream and recording profiles are active before closing this window. If the option has a check mark next to it, then the profile is active. Whenever you set up a new profile, it will be listed on the left side of the Output Settings. The final thing you'll need to do before starting your recording is making sure that both the recording and streaming profiles are active. This will pop open a new window where you will name the file and choose where it will be saved to.ĥ. To do this, simply click on the "Browse" button. After setting the quality of your recording, the next step is to name the file and choose where on the computer it will be saved. Keep in mind, the higher the quality of the recording the more processing power that is needed, which will be reflected in the CPU % on the main Wirecast screen.Ĥ. Along with sending a quality stream, Wirecast allows you to set up a local recording which will create a video file on your computer that is an exact replica of the online stream!
